Dear friend and supporter of Humanity Auxilium:

Thank you for all that you do to support our initiatives. We could not have succeeded in medically aiding, educating, and feeding hundreds of poverty-stricken people around the world without your generosity and kindness. Right now I want to draw your attention to the crisis in Yemen. Since violence erupted in 2015, people in the war-torn country have lived through fear, hunger, loss, and even displacement, and are in desperate need of our help.

A young female student living in New York City recalled growing up in Yemen in 2014  and hearing tanks fire while in history class. Furthermore, she was terrified when air raids took place in the vicinity of her home. The relentless violence convinced her family to leave their homes and everything familiar to them to first escape Yemen, by any means necessary, and then eventually start a new life in the United States. Similarly, many other Yemenis have risked their lives traveling by foot or boat to escape the unsafe conditions in Yemen. However, there are about 24 million Yemenis still residing in Yemen who require humanitarian assistance. These people are on the brink of starvation, which has been heightened by the fact that a lot of humanitarian funding has dried up due to the financial constraints caused by the pandemic.

This is where Humanity Auxilum seeks your help. We are proud to announce that we have partnered with Hayrat Aid, an organization that works to deliver educational supports, healthcare assistance, orphan protection, and emergency aid such as food and supplies to those in need. Our goal for the current project is to provide 230 food packages to Yemenis who urgently need aid, especially orphans and families who do not have a steady source of income. An amount of US$63.40 will provide a food package for a family. The food package includes staples such as flour, rice, sugar, oil, milk powder, tomato paste, beans and tea. You can donate at humanityauxilium.com and designate your donation for “Yemen Relief” to ensure that your funds go towards this project. Please donate generously and bring joy to Yemeni families as Eid al-Adha approaches. Your donations are the lifeblood of this organization, so thank you again for your much appreciated and necessary aid.

Sincerely,

Fozia Alvi
