Dr. Mohsina Chaklader is a Gastroenterologist based in Toronto. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador and her Gastroenterology Fellowship at University of Alberta. She is a Fellow of The American College of Physicians and The Royal College of Physicians of Canada. Dr. Chaklader’s practice is clinic based and she is the Medical Director of Dynamic Medical Endoscopy Clinic in Toronto.
In 2017, Mohsina travelled to Bangladesh to volunteer in the Rohingya camps and treat patients. Following her first visit, she has been advocating for the Rohingya communities. She is the Medical Lead Coordinator and in charge of dispatching physician volunteers to low resource areas and refugee camps to treat patients and train local physicians.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, physician volunteers are now unable to travel overseas. Dr. Chaklader is overseeing Humanity Auxilium’s COVID Response Team (MMT) which consists of different medical specialist volunteers and IT support to conduct virtual sessions with the local partner NGOs regarding COVID related concerns.
